1920 Armstrong Siddeley Sphinx Car Mascot/Hood Ornament M-172

A 1920’s style Armstrong Siddeley Sphinx Car Mascot/Hood Ornament. This mascot is in the form of a seated SPHINX. This “Greek” type design is sitting in the upright position. The original was used by Siddeley Deasley 1912-1914, and also by Armstrong Siddeley from 1919-1931. This stylish mascot has sharp detailing and would make a great addition to anyone’s collection. It is made of bronze with silver plating and measures approximately 3.5 inches high.  It is a reproduction. This is an individual piece there may be small differences between the pictures and the physical piece.  This adds to the exclusivity of this ornament.
