1920’s style MONKEY WITH DOLL Car Mascot/Hood Ornament M-204

A 1920’s style Monkey with Doll Car Mascot/ Hood Ornament. This fine detailed little monkey is sitting on his haunches holding a toy baby doll. It is modeled after the mascot of a monkey holding a baby doll by Bourcart. Photographed and described in Michel Legrand book 'Mascottes Passion' Plate 399. It is made of bronze with silver-plating and measures approximately 3-7/8 inches high.  It is marked “Depose” and signed “Bourcart” at the base. It is a reproduction. This is an individual piece there may be small differences between the pictures and the physical piece. This adds to the exclusivity of this ornament.
